A breakout board to use an ESP32 with Joe’s Drive inside a BB8 droid.
Designed to work with an SBus receiver to control all the motors, etc. in a typical Joe’s Drive for BB8.
Available as board only (but with headphone socket) or full kit (board, headphone socket, and all headers)
Not included are the receiver, ESP32, DFPlayer Mini or BNO055 IMU.
Please note, this is still a work in progress. Currently I’m on v1.4 of the board and have hopefully worked out all the hardware issues. The code is still being written but has most of the main functionality included. For more information, you can check my build log.
